Operation Sindoor: PM Modi Declares a New Era in India’s Fight Against Terror

PM Modi Declares Operation Sindoor a New Era in India’s War on Terror

India Stands Firm: Peace with Power, Retaliation with Precision

🇮🇳 Saluting India's Strength and Unity

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation, expressing pride in the country’s resilience in the face of terror. He applauded the bravery and commitment of the armed forces, intelligence agencies, and scientists, stating:

“Every Indian salutes them. India has shown both strength and restraint in recent days.”

🕊️The Pahalgam Attack: A Turning Point

On April 22, terrorists launched a brutal attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, killing innocent tourists in front of their families. PM Modi called the attack:

“A cruel attempt to shake our national spirit and unity.”

Deeply affected personally, the Prime Minister emphasized that the armed forces were given full freedom to respond with strength.

🔥 Operation Sindoor: India Strikes Back

On May 6, Indian forces launched Operation Sindoor, targeting terror hubs deep inside Pakistan. The strikes focused on Bahawalpur and Muridke—described by Modi as “universities of global terrorism.”

The result:

  • Major terror camps were destroyed.

  • Over 100 terrorists were eliminated.

  • Pakistan’s military infrastructure was significantly damaged.

“The operation surprised the terrorists and left Pakistan shaken,” said PM Modi.

🛡️ Air Defense Triumphs Over Drone Warfare

While Pakistan retaliated by launching drones and missiles at Indian civilian and military targets, India’s air defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed the threats. In response, Indian drones delivered pinpoint strikes with precision and power.

“India’s air defense and new-age warfare capabilities proved their strength,” said the Prime Minister.

📞 Pakistan Seeks Truce After Heavy Losses

On May 10, Pakistan’s Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) reached out to India. By then, Indian forces had already neutralized key terror camps and air bases.

PM Modi clarified:

“Military action has only been paused. We will closely monitor Pakistan’s next steps.”

⚖️ A New Normal: No Talks Without Action Against Terror

PM Modi was clear in his message to Islamabad:

“Terror and talks cannot go together. Terror and trade cannot go together.”

He reiterated that India will not tolerate nuclear blackmail and called out Pakistan’s military support for terrorists, citing the presence of military officials at terrorist funerals as proof.

🛠️ Made in India: Defense Revolution

Highlighting self-reliance, PM Modi praised indigenous defense systems and technology, declaring:

“India has shown its power in new-age warfare. The time has come for Made in India defense equipment.”

🔔 A Message on Buddha Purnima: Peace Through Power

Speaking on the auspicious occasion of Buddha Purnima, PM Modi reminded the nation of Lord Buddha’s teachings:

“We seek peace, but we will not hesitate to use our strength to preserve it.”

India’s strength, he emphasized, is not aggression, but deterrence—a force for peace and justice.

🇮🇳 Bharat’s Bold Resolve

Concluding his address, PM Modi reaffirmed India's determination:

“If Pakistan wants to survive, it must dismantle its terror infrastructure. Terrorism will eventually destroy them.”

Final Words: A Nation United in Strength

India stands united and firm. Operation Sindoor is not just a military mission—it’s a message.
A message that India will no longer tolerate terrorism in any form, from any quarter.

Thank you,
